Junior Achievement South Africa in partnership with the Momentum Metropolitan Foundation has empowered 45 grade 10-11 learners at Dr. E.P Lekhela High School in Retswelele, Kimberley with skills in financial literacy. The My Money Biz programme simplifies difficult financial concepts by complementing learning with practical approaches to financial management.
“The learners started the programme not knowing the important of managing their money, as most of them shared bad experiences on how they spend reckless every month. The My Money Biz Programme helped the learners on the importance of knowing and understanding financial concepts”, says Thamsanqa Matroos, the programme facilitator.
