JA South Africa and Sci Bono partnership offering learners dynamic learning experience

This June holidays over 50 grade 9 -10 learners from 12 schools took part in the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp. The weeklong bootcamp introduced learners to concepts on mental wellness, project management, savings and entrepreneurship. All core offerings of JA South Africa.

The Sci Bono partnership in its second year aims to supplement entrepreneurial education for South African youth.

This is what one of the learners had to say: ” This week taught us all the skills needed to be successful entrepreneurs aswell as well leadership. All skills needed in the world of business. Thanks to JA South Africa and Sci Bono I now know how to market our business idea and for that I am truly grateful”  says Tyresse Fish from Oosrand Secondary School.

Over the last twelve months our partnership with Sci Bono has seen us reach over 800 learner through various JA Progarmmes, seeing more learners participate in entrepreneurship training and work readiness say giving them a robust learning experience, Bonga Khumalo, JA South Africa’s National Programmes manager.

Our triple-cord partnership in it’s second year with Sci-Bono Discovery Centre and Gauteng Department of Education partnership continues to #inspireyouth in Gauteng.
