Citi Foundation partnership creates enterprising opportunities

JA South Africa is once again proud to partner with Citi Foundation on our Enterprise Programme. The implementation will see 350 grade 10 – 11 learners across Gauteng, Kwa-Zulu Natal, Western Cape, Limpopo and the Free State.

Participants receiving training that develops their understanding of business and entrepreneurship, whilst building and managing a business.
“Thanks to Citi Foundation for helping us prepare our learners for the national and regional company of the year competition” says Michael Cekiso, JA South Africa – National Programmes Manager.

To date we have reached 245 learners and have received some amazing feedback.

This is some of the great feedback received:

The programme is very helpful; I had no idea what a person should do to be a business manager. I have learned so much now through this course. We had to learn to work together. Despite some struggles we are making a success of our business. I enjoy learning new things, business decisions and managing. I also enjoyed producing our product. – Ikamva Lethu from Beacon High School, Western Cape.

This programme was a massive change for me even though I was never into business development. I now have a different point of view.
There were ups and downs, but eventually we all worked it out together as a team and I now know one thanks to the JA South Africa programme, I can become a business manager. I’d like to thank Mrs Zaidah for exposing me to better opportunities for the future.” – Kaylin Se vos.

Thank you Citi Foundation, for enabling us to create Pathways to Progress.
