    BOWLER PLASTICS PARTNERSHIP MAKES YOUTH FINANCIALLY SAVVY

    Junior Achievement South Africa is excited to empower young people young people across Gauteng, the North West province, and the Western Cape to be financially savvy, through JA’s More Than Money Programme. 

    The partnership which started implementation during the annual Global Money Week in March has to date empower over 420 youth. The grade 5-7 who took part in the one day implementations explored money management skills by identifying the role of money in everyday life. To complement the learning they also explored how prudent money management is key to starting and managing a small business. JA’s unique learning through play  of the Money game immersed learners in the process of business plan writing with financial management as a critical skill to ensure small businesses are sustainable, by exploring their existing talents, and skills. 

    The programme was implemented across Boys and Girls Club and various school, ensuring a safe space to ask questions whilst having fun
