Junior Achievement South Africa

Junior Achievement (JA) South Africa is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to inspire and prepare the South African youth in a dynamic global economy. Our mission is to bridge the gap between classroom learning and the demands of the modern workforce, focusing on practical skills for the future world of work, entrepreneurship, financial literacy.

By imparting these essential competencies, we empower South African youth to actively contribute to their communities and foster resilience. Since 1979, we’ve impacted over 600,000 young people in Primary School, High Schools, and Out of School. 

JA South Africa is affiliated to JA Worldwide, and is the oldest and first JA worldwide affiliate African member chapter. 

JA Worldwide is one of the largest youth serving organisations in the world with a presence in over 100 countries and has been  rated by the seventh NGO Adviser in the top 10 out of the 200 top performing NGOs in the world in 2022 and 2023.
